Stephanie Zeit

Actress. Writer. Educator.

Stephanie is a stage and screen actor,  writer, and teacher based in Toronto. Artistically, she is excited by the moments that define us as people: weddings, pregnancies, deaths, first loves, and life changing events. 

The content of her work varies. It has centered on coming of age narratives, lesbianism, examining Jewish identity, and finding humour in millenial/Gen Z culture. Stephanie’s kind of theatre is a reflective processing of life as she lives it. She is equally thrilled by acting in theatre and film projects that expand beyond her life experience. 

Stephanie graduated from the University of Toronto’s Acting Program. She was shortlisted for the Tarragon Young Playwright Unit in 2023. She was also accepted into the NTS class of 2023 but unable to attend due to COVID-19 lockdown logistics.  She continues to write, act, and make work.

Stephanie has received awards for her acting and writing, including the University of Toronto’s award for Best Performance in a Play.
